If I sign up for myself today, how will the program start?
After you sign up, we’ll add you to the list with your preferred email address. You will start receiving emails that same week. If you don’t please check your spam and other folders. If you are still not receiving emails, contact us at: erica@mindfulmindfulmindful.com and we’ll double check your email address.
How often are emails sent? Is there a set time?
Typically once a weekday, but it can vary. For instance , we sometimes skip major holidays because less people are typically in the office. Or we may choose a day to send two. On average, we send emails 4x /week on weekdays based on your time zone. There is no set time, but more often than not we send them in the morning to start your day.
How long does the program go on?
There is no endpoint. You can continue as long as you like. If you decide to cancel your subscription, you can always re-subscribe.
Can I reply to the emails to say what I think and how I perceive it?
Yes, we love this! We read every one. However, we will not respond back directly to a reply. To receive a reply from us, email: erica@mindfulmindfulmindful.com and we will respond from there. What is mental space?
The space between thoughts, thought and reaction, emotion and response, etc. This in-between space exists everywhere in our lives whether it’s the space between notes in a song, or the space between plays in sports. When our minds become busy or distracted, we often don’t notice this space, but once we start to notice it again we realize it was always there. And there is so much power in this space in how we manage ourselves, lives, relationships, and general well-being.
What is awareness?
A lot of people think of self awareness, but that’s only a starting point. We start by being aware of what we say, do, think, feel, but we come to realize there is so much more. As the mind and body become more calm, we can become more aware of awareness, and the more we can take in with ease. In other words, as we become more in-tune with ourselves, we start to notice more subtle things while becoming more in-tune with the world at large. And with a naturally increasing sense of confidence and curiosity, the easier it will be to move through challenges, change, uncertainty
It has been said that awareness is like the sky, and it sounds like a lot, but it is something people are uniquely suited to understand when looking for it. But if we aren’t looking, we’re basically on autopilot.
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a current buzzword and there are different definitions floating around. But we think of mindfulness as an awareness of awareness. In a way, it’s like you’ve taken a full step back from what’s in front of you and it allows you to be clear and understanding of yourself and what exists. You experientially become aware of how the mind works, the unity and connectivity of life, and it raises the level of consciousness.
In time, one sees a natural progression from learning to be at ease, to understanding awareness, to mindfulness, and how it all connects to happiness and well being.
What makes you different?
It’s a myth that if we stop to rest we are not doing anything and wasting time. Au contraire, we’re going to effectively change our habits, regulate ourselves, and find a way to practically rest which leads to something called, restful action. We’re going to do it simply, by asking less, and we’re going to find that we can accomplish more. Why? Because we’re using less of ourselves, and not going against the grain to get results anymore. Rather, we’re in harmony with ourselves, experience clarity, and are able to solve problems more effectively than before.
We are going to run a marathon, not a sprint after all.
How do you decide what to say?
Usually a message is created on that day. It is based on the day at hand, real world examples, practically wise principles, people, experiences. The messages vary in subject matter to be more useful, engaging, and they aim to meet people at different places in their lives. We won’t tell you how to interpret the message (that’s for you to say), but we will encourage you to think that your understanding of it might change and grow.
What else should I know about well being?
Well being can take a person beyond what they knew possible. Mindful Meaningful really does mean taking of the best of being human and emphasizing it day-to-day, moment-to-moment. It means seeing wellbeing as a mindset, a way to live, be happy, a resiliency, and filled with joy and wonder. That being said, Mindful Meaningful does not mean the circumstances of your life will fall into a magical place. It means, no matter the circumstances that enter your life, you are capable of: navigating challenges, emphasizing useful habits with rest and east, letting go, transforming what you need to, keeping meaningful motivation, and continuing to better yourself through mindset alone.
